Welcome to the new North Georgia Band website!

Welcome to the new North Georgia Band website!

It’s been a long time coming – nearly six years into our history and we finally have a new website!  It’s nowhere near complete and there’s still plenty of work to do but we’re very excited to bring this to you and hope that you find it to be a vast improvement from the old site.

In addition to a new look and feel there are a couple of great new features that we want you to know about.  First off is our “Flutes and More Store” – this will be a marketplace where we will not only be marketing our lines of Muramatsu, Dean Yang and Piper flutes and piccolos but also our refurbished instruments, accessories and other odds and ends that we have around the shop from time to time.  From refurbished mouthpieces to mutes, used books and electronics this will be a great place to catch a deal!

The store is not quite ready for “prime time” as we complete our integration with a PCI compliant server in order to be able to confidently handle your credit card information securely through the website.  In the meantime you are welcome to browse through the store – new items are being added frequently so if you see something you like give us a call and we’ll be happy to handle a transaction over the phone.

The second new feature will be our newsfeed – for those of you on our mailing list this will include our famous “Tip of the Week” in an indexed, searchable database that will include keywords and categorizations so you’ll be able to easily find what you’re looking for when you need it!

We truly appreciate you visiting our site and hope you’ll return as we continue to grow.  If you find bugs or other issues don’t hesitate to let us know.  Furthermore if there’s something you would like to see added (particularly to the “Resources” section) then tell us about it – we’ll make every effort to make it happen.

As always, thanks for your business and we’re always looking for new ways to serve you.
